I have encountered only the two variations of the gilmer drive sleeve shown below that I can recall.

Earlier model greenies (1953 to 54 perhaps) had no clutch but still could slip under binding conditions. The later ones have a spring loaded sacrificial interior.

This is an early drive sleeve. It has a setscrew which can be tightened or loosened to give some degree of slippage in the case of quill bindup. (Bearings removed in both pictures.)
The later style looks like this.
Exploded view of the internal parts. You can take it apart, inspect, clean each individual piece. You need a shop press to put it back together due to the strong spring. In case of slippage some of the pieces can be damaged and since they are no longer available you would need to jury rig something, replace it with a good one from another greenie, or convert to poly v.
